The charges for authenticating documents have two elements: (a) Notary's fees and (b) Third party charges.
Notarial fees, like fees in most legal matters, are usually based on time spent. - Set / Fixed Fees - In most case of authenticating (notarising) documents we should be able to quote set fees, usually after having sight of the documents.
- Reduced Fees - We are able to offer reduced fees for mutiple documents dealt for the same client at the same time and for repeat clients.
Third party fee most commonly incurred is for legalisation (re-confirmation of the notary's authority) by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and / or foreign Embassy, Consulate, High Commission or other organisation depending on where the document is destined for. These charges vary considerably.
Other third party fees relate to Companies House search fees, translation fees, courier charges and other third-party costs which may be payable to check and authenticate information.
